  • The degradation of the gene-seed of the Desolate Brotherhood means that the Chapter is constantly assigned to extremely dangerous missions. In the end, the Chapter betrays and becomes the Company of Misery Chaos warband. (Codex Chaos Space Marines, 6th edition)
  • At the beginning of the millennium, almost two thirds of the Imperium are united in the worship of the Emperor. Less than a century later, the Temple of the Saviour Emperor becomes the official religion of the Imperium, receiving the title of Adeptus Ministorum or Ecclesiarchy. (Codex Witch Hunters, 3rd edition)

027: Faenroc the Forgotten, of the Black Legion, builds a mine on a daemon world composed by warp-infused iron. He is forced to bind daemons to its mining machines, for slaves are too week to work there. (Codex Supplement: Black Legion, 6th edition)

221: The astropathic choir on the world Vheinos falls silent. The forge world Lucius sends its Skitarii legions to investigate. After a month of battles against an army of rebels, Vheinos is completely devastated and the astropathic choir moved to one of Lucius’ moons. (Codex: Skitarii, 7th edition)

~400: The Daemon Primarch Perturabo invokes Nurgle to curse the mechanical systems of the forge world Toil, making them living predatory things. The planet is scoured of all native flesh. (Codex Chaos Space Marines, 6th edition)

597: The second of Abaddon’s Black Crusades. Abaddon curses the worlds of the Belis Corona sector. In the meantime, someone releases the daemonic occupants of one of the cells of the Inquisitorial world of Nemesis Tessera, but is unclear if the two events are somehow related. (Codex Supplement: Black Legion, 6th edition)

892: Drecarth the Sightless musters the former Sons of Horus who refused to obey Abaddon and forms the Sons of the Eye. In the Battle of the Keening Deep, they defeat the World Eaters warband led by Voslok, claiming their keep. (Codex Supplement: Black Legion, 6th edition)

909: The third of Abaddon’s Black Crusades. The Daemon Prince Tallomin attacks the Cadian Gate, probably incited by the Daemon Prince Be’Lakor. The ensuing war is brutal and involves many Astra Militarum regiments and Space Marines Chapters from the whole Segmentum Obscurus. In the end, Tallomin is banished by the intervention of the Space Wolves. While the Imperium is so distracted, Abaddon secretly descends on the shrine world of Gerstahl and desecrates it, destroying the corpse of the saint who was buried there.
